Good quality with some drawbacks
They are good quality, but there are some drawbacks. The dampner control sits fairly high out of the vent. You have to be careful when walking barefoot. It doesn't feel good to step on the control, especially in the middle of the night.They're a few shades darker grey than I would have prefered. Not sure If I'm going to keep or not
Perfect fit for 4 x 10 vent. Be sure you measure the vent hole and not the existing cover to order the correct size. Smooth satin nickel finish on thick, sturdy metal. Underside and louvers are also metal, unlike some vent covers that have plastic bodies underneath. Easily adjustable opening with slider. Classy grid design looks great against the tile where I have it, and would also look good on carpet or hardwood. Excellent choice!
I had two older painted duct covers in a carpeted room that gradually got scratched by the vacuum cleaner over time. I jumped at the chance to try these modern covers with a nickel finish. They arrived in protective cardboard & plastic wrap to maintain their shape and prevent scratching.I love the satin finish and the repeating basket weave design. These covers are heavyweight, and stay securely in place. The lever to open & close the cover is a bit stiff, but they’re very functional because you can adjust the airflow by tilting the dampers exactly where you want them. I appreciate that they won’t easily snap closed like our older ones did.It’s a great value to get this pair of sturdy covers for under $50. They’re attractive and well made. There are cheaper duct covers available at big box stores, but they’re all flimsy and rattle when the heat comes on. These are anchored by their own weight, and don’t make a sound.
The Decorative Floor Register with Basketweave Design by Handua looks exactly as shown online. I opted for the 4-pack in the bronze color and the 4"×10" duct size. These fit perfectly, and they look good, too! These floor registers are definitely heavy duty, they can be walked on, and they have a lever allowing you to adjust the air flow coming through the vent. They are really well made and durable. The price is comparable to similar items, and I feel they are worth the cost. Overall, they are sold at a good price, they look great and I have not had any issues with them.

1-29-264.5 starsThese are all metal construction, except for the little slide tab has a plastic cap.They are a drop in style making it easy to install or remove for cleaning.I'd say their best for floor vents that are not in a major thoroughfare. The metal is thick enough for occasionally being walked on but for frequent walking with heavier people expect they will bow down over time.My only minor gripe is the little tabs to slide the louvers open and closed stick up of enough to become a trip hazard.I like that they come in a builder pack. Not only saving you some money but answering you have enough to match all your vents without having to order more than they typically have on the shelf at my local lawn and garden store.Hopefully my written and photo reviews are helpful, thank you!

Order by the duct opening, not the faceplate. Remove the vent and measure the hole behind it, then order that size. Getting it right the first time means no returns, no reorders, and no waiting on the job.
