Choose this butterfly damper to regulate the supply airflow behind a round ceiling diffuser. It installs inside the duct or neck behind the diffuser, and the plastic key handle turns it from fully open to closed. This is an airflow-control damper, not a supply or return grille.

How to Measure for This Vent

Measure the round duct or collar the diffuser connects to and match it to the 10" Neck neck size above. Do not measure the outer panel.

Installation

Fit the butterfly damper into the round duct or neck behind the diffuser. Align it in the airway, then use the plastic key handle to open or close it to the airflow you want. No face screws are needed; the diffuser mounts over it.

Great fit and function

This worked great for my project. The female end of the duct slipped right over the mounting flang. It also opens and closes very easily.

Damper made well but design requires a straight duct

Product is good quality metal with a plastic handle. The damper design features a two half butterfly type adjustable doors. The issue with this design is the door length is too long and bumps into the duct when opening because the duct curves. Most standard damper designs for rectangle type vents are shorter and do not extend past the vent more than an inch.

Air Neck Duct

This air neck duct is excellent. It’s made of metal and very sturdy. Unfortunately, I had to returned because I needed something flat to not obstruct the opening and closing of the cabinets since they go up to the ceiling.

Rigid and works smoothly

Product was a replacement for the oem plastic junk. OEM replacement costs between $40-$50 and dont last. These worked perfectly , depending on outlet size may need a small bracket but way better than before.
