Choose this wooden floor register if you need an adjustable supply-air vent for a floor opening. This wooden floor register carries supply air and mounts on floor surfaces. It is not designed for exterior or outdoor use, dryer exhaust venting or use as a filter-holding return grille. Confirm the airflow function against your HVAC layout before ordering.

How to Measure for This Vent

Remove the existing vent and measure the width and height of the duct opening, not the outer face of the old cover. Match those two numbers to the nominal size above. The overall face measures 3-3/4"W X 13-3/4"H.

Installation

Excellent Replacment Register

This is a perfect replacement for a broken register in our kitchen. The color/shade of the finish is slightly lighter than our old register but otherwise, it's an exact duplicate. I'm sure it will darken up over time like the register it is replacing. But, these are also excellent registers if you are looking for something new. Specifically if you have real hardwood flooring. One of the benefits being, if the color is wrong, you can easily sand, stain, and refinish them to match your floors.

Very nice wood floor register

I got this because it matches the flooring I just installed, and thought it would look better than a metal register. I was right, this actually looks fantastic. This fit the 12x4 duct opening perfectly. This vent allows for very good air flow. The wood used in this register looks very good and durable. I think this is an excellent value for the money.

It looks so neat and unique, I love it

I needed to get a new vent cover as my old one was starting to rust or just look really old as it’s been years.I was originally going to purchase an exact copy/replica of my original old one.But this wood air vent caught my eye and I’m honestly glad I got this. It looks great in person, the wood feels good quality, it’s sanded well/fair, the cuts seem neat. I also really like the base wood color. It looks neater and more flush with my wood floors. It looks durable and well made, so I love it. The switch/knobs for the vent is also neatly tucked to the side but still easily accessible. The actual adjustment panels on the inside is also really nice, it opens and closes properly.Sizing wise it was a perfect fit. I ordered a 4x12 as that’s what I somewhat measured from my air vent and it was an exact match.All in all, I’m glad I decided to try it out and go for it. I definitely recommend!Just be sure to check your flooring or wall/ceiling colors and see if you think it’d look good in your home. It also feels like it’s good to be stained or oiled if you like. I personally liked the base wood color so it ended up being very accurate. Which I’m happy with !

Very nice duct cover

Exactly as advertised. Very pretty will be replacing an old metal duck. The color matches the flooring nicely. The only thing is that the metal duct was flushed with the floor and this one is a little higher. Be sure and measure your vent on the inside of the duct not the outside for correct fit. This is what I did and it fits perfect. it appears very durable and I think it will last for a while 'I’m gonna have to replace all the other vent covers.
