Esthetic over function

These vents look fantastic and give a much more modern appearance than standard stamped steel registers. The finish is clean, installation was straightforward, and the overall build quality is solid.The only downside is their ability to direct airflow. Even after adjusting the vanes, most of the air still blows almost straight down from the grille instead of being redirected across the room. If you're buying these primarily for aesthetics, they're a great choice. Just don't expect the airflow control to be as effective as a traditional supply register.

Super high quality option with a very clean/modern look. Much more aesthetic than the typical “builder grade” stamped steel offerings you’ll find by the dozen at the big box home improvement stores.If you’re doing new construction, or reworking your ducts/resizing HVAC, you’ll find an included card that specs all size offerings/CFMs/etc. Pretty handy.They’re a little more expensive, but add a lot of class w/ their aesthetic, I’d highly recommend these!

Perfect upgrade

I really like the look of this vent cover. It's a huge upgrade from the plain builder-grade register it replaced and gives the room a much more modern, finished appearance. The black finish looks clean and stylish, and the aluminum construction feels sturdy. While there are a few plastic components, they don't feel cheap at all, everything fits together well and feels solid once installed.Installation was straightforward, and it fit my 10x4 duct opening perfectly. Modern looking vent with a quirk

We're slowly renovating our home room by room and one of the things we wanted to do was get new vents, so I grabbed this to check it out.Firstly, I was very impressed with the packaging. It was robust and very protective. There was a piece of foam protecting the top and a set of instructions included.The vent itself is very elegant and modern looking. The black is painted on very well with no bunching, streaking, or running. It's very smooth.The louvers are where things get a little interesting. They're plastic and operate manually. So if you want to open or close them, you have to manually adjust each one.I will say that if you set your louvers to one position and don't change them, this is a great vent, but if you plan on making adjustments, this is definitely not practical.Because I'm setting it in one position and it's not going to move, I love it.Overall, given the quality and look, combined with the statements I made earlier, this is a great option for some, but maybe not for others.

This changes your decor starting with the floor

This Modern 10”x4” Duct Opening AC Vent Cover is well made and drops right in place. True 10”x4” fit. I really like the black powder coat appearance, and this does not rattle. This comes with wall mounting screws if needed, and also a small scraper to change the directions in the vent for airflow. You do not need to use a screwdriver or the provided scraper to change the position of the vents from left to right or closed. Honestly, you can just do it with your hand very easily. If I had the option at the time, I would’ve replaced every vent in my house with these because this looks modern and does clean up the decor with this floor vent.
